DJ Ana Paula

DJ Ana Paula is one of the most influential artists on the world stage of
house music. She has delighted crowds in world cities such as London,
New York, Barcelona, Montreal, Madrid, Atlanta, Toronto, Los Angeles, Tel
Aviv, Miami, Paris, and Ibiza, just to name a few. In her native Brazil, Ana Paula
has become an icon to her legions of loyal fans. Her energy, charisma, interaction and
infectious beats consistently deliver an unforgettable experience.
Ana Paula hit the turntables right after high school and has built a solid career through
discipline, hard work, and dedication. She is fortunate to be in a profession that is
centered on her two passions in life: people and music. Every bit a performer, she is
world-renowned for her unique ability to connect with the crowd on a personal level. She
credits the late Peter Rauhofer for believing in and mentoring her throughout the years.
She was honored to have been one of his djs and claims he was and continues to be her
biggest source of influence and inspiration.
Though already a dominant fixture in Brazil, the world was ultimately introduced to Ana
Paula when DJ Offer Nissim invited her to “Forever Tel Aviv Presents: The Samba” in
2007. The rest, as they say, is history. Over the years her eclectic sounds have
electrified some of the world’s biggest events such as Circuit Barcelona, Rapido
Amsterdam, BPM Festival in Playa del Carmen, White Party Palm Springs, Winter Party
Festival Miami, Songkran Bangkok, Gay Days Orlando, Dance on the Pier NYC, Fire
London, Pride Toronto, Dallas Purple Party, and WE Party Madrid, and many more.
Never able to resist a challenge, Ana Paula remixed the memorable “The Girl From
Ipanema,” the second most recorded pop song in history. With luscious vocals by the
diva Deborah Cox, a dance anthem was born. Other successful collaborations have
produced hits such as, “Let’s Dance” featuring Yan Lavoie, Ceevox’s “My Imagination,”
“Hookup” featuring Maya, “Fashion Show” from Cory Lee, Offer Nissim’s “Love Me”, “I
Run This” with George Figares, Mr. Black’s “Wake Up,” and “To The Moon And Back”
with Manuel De Diego. If you are planning a road trip or hitting the gym you may want to
check out “Take Me Higher” a sweet compilation released by Peter Rauhofer’s Star 69
Records. From the pulsating and fun “Rollercoaster” to her sensual debut single
“Goddess” featuring Carol Campos, we can expect many more surprises to hit the dance
floors in the near future.

Ana Paula would not be where she is today without her fans. She feels the best way to
thank them is to deliver a mind-blowing set every single time. Her musical influences are
vast and she enjoys a special connection with the ocean from where many of her
creative juices flow.
In an effort to win over every crowd she plays for, Ana Paula never takes her audience
for granted and makes certain she satisfies their needs. It is not uncommon to hear
someone say “it is hard to take a break in the middle of Ana’s set.” With intoxicating
percussion, impeccable timing and flawless transitions, she guarantees an epic night of
dancing from start to finish. If you want to witness firsthand the Ana Paula experience
you can catch her at The Week Rio where she frequently headlines. If you can’t make it
to Brazil just yet, you can be sure the Queen of House will be spinning to a huge sweaty
crowd near you soon! DJ Ana Paula is in the house!
Her contributions to dance music have been significant. She shuns complacency and
aims to stay current while continuously improving and cultivating her unique sound. In
Ana Paula, one can find a person that is genuine and compassionate. Her White is Pure
8 compilation album was a “labor of love” and as such, she felt that the best way to
share the immense happiness she experienced on that project was to donate all of her
earnings to an AIDS organization in Canada.
She recognizes and respects the power that music has of bringing people together to
spread a message of unity, peace, tolerance, and love. Because of this, Ana Paula is
driven by the mission to change the world one beat at a time.
